BEFORE AND AFTER
Serene Spa Bath
This primary bath had been separated from a narrow and under-utilized dressing room by a thick structural column. We wanted to enlarge the bath without making the space even more of a bowling alley.
The solution was to create three separate zones: A double vanity, soaking tub, and discrete water closet, separated by a frosted glass door that offers much needed privacy for a busy couple. The new palette is soothing and spa-like, with a mosaic marble floor and driftwood toned cabinets. The walls outside the shower are paneled rather than tiled to save costs and add warmth. Flipping the door to open out instead of in makes the most of the skinny space.
